Grades 3 – 8 begin testing tomorrow

From Campbell County Director of Schools Jennifer Fields:

On Tuesday, April 24, our students in grades 3-8 will begin a window of time during which they will show us what they know on the TNReady test. Although Tennessee lawmakers have decided the test will not be held against students, teachers, and public school districts at the same level of accountability as originally planned, the measure did agree that test scores will count if it benefits students, teachers, and districts. Attendance and participation on the TNReady test are crucial in receiving data on student achievement. We will be proceeding with testing as originally scheduled. Thank you to our students, teachers, parents, and principals for your hard work and your continued patience as we wait for further information.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 04/23/2018-6AM)
