The start of a new school year often brings questions about dress codes.  In Campbell County, there isn’t a “district-wide” code that offers specifics, according to Director of Schools Jennifer Fields. Instead, the county opts to allow each school to determine the dress code for its school, she said.

What the county has is a policy that states students are to dress in a manner that doesn’t “distract or interfere with the operation of the school.”

Parents and students can find each school’s dress codes in the handbooks that are distributed when school begins, Fields said.
