A late day wreck sent First Responders down Howard Baker Highway on Wednesday.   Reports coming in to WLAF News are that a pick-up truck rear ended another vehicle near the Campbell – Scott County line at 4:35 pm yesterday.  The man driving the truck had to be cut out by firefighters from the Caryville Fire Department.  He was transported to the Pioneer Post Office where he was loaded onto a med chopper and flown to a Knoxville hospital.

Aside from CFD, Caryville Police, both the Campbell County and Scott County Sheriff’s Departments and the Tennessee Highway Patrol responded to the scene.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – PHOTO COURTESY OF CFD CHIEF EDDIE HATMAKER)
