A wet and windy morning gives-way to an afternoon of improving weather today here in Campbell County.   Rain, and pockets of heavy rain at times, along with strong winds highlight our Thursday morning.  The breezes remain through daybreak Friday.

Not long after lunch time today, we’ll see the rain move out as drier air moves in leaving us with a “fall feel finish” to our Thursday.  Expect a high of 70 under cloudy skies early with sunshine taking over through the afternoon.  Tonight brings the coolest night of the season, so far, with a low of 43-degrees under mostly clear skies.

Friday and Saturday feature classic fall days and nights with a pleasant feel.  Sunshine is here both days with highs of 65 Friday and 62 on Saturday.  Lows will be in the upper 40s as some of us will see a few predawn sprinkles on Saturday morning.  Sunday brings a slight chance of rain.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 10/11/2018-6AM)
