Ayers is this week’s most wanted on Crime Stoppers

Each week, on Thursdays, WLAF, in conjunction with Sheriff Robbie K. Goins and the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office, presents Crime Stoppers.

Individuals featured on Crime Stoppers are individuals with active, outstanding warrants that are wanted by police. Through Crime Stoppers, the community can call the CCSO at 423-562-7446 if they see the person.

This week, 33-year old Ricky Wade Ayers of La Follette is wanted in Crime Stoppers.  Booked through the Campbell County Jail eight times, his latest booking was on March 19, 2018.  He was there for an attachment for child support and bonded out the same day, and now,  Ayers is currently wanted for theft over $1,000, according to reports.  He also has prior charges of aggravated domestic assault and aggravated burglary.

“Please do not approach anyone you see on Crime Stoppers,” said Goins. “Call the sheriff’s department and report where they are. We don’t want anyone to try to apprehend these people, just tell us where they are if you see them.”  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 11/29/2018-6AM)
