The Campbell County Sheriff’s Office has been gifted a vital piece of equipment by a company that operates in 41 countries.    This week, the final touches were placed on a new SWAT Truck courtesy of Brinks Armored Truck Company (top photo).

The truck was a complete donation, which means neither the department nor the county had to use any matching funds to get the truck.

The 13 member SWAT team (part of the team is above) will utilize this vehicle when executing search warrants, barricaded situations, hostage situations and any high threat calls for service. The SWAT Truck is completely bullet proof and will protect deputies in dangerous situations.

“We are incredibly grateful to Brinks for this donation,” said Campbell County Sheriff Robbie Goins. “Having the right equipment in law enforcement is imperative. This truck will keep our officers safe in volatile situations.” (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 11/29/2018-6AM)
