One person has died in an afternoon fire at Caryville

WLAF has learned that a man has died in a house fire this afternoon at Caryville.   Firefighters were dispatched to a house fire on Lake Lane near the post office at 12:39 pm Friday afternoon.

Units from the Caryville Fire Department, Campbell County Rural Fire Service, Jacksboro Fire Department and La Follette Fire Department responded.

Another person, a female, was transported to the hospital for treatment.  No other details are available at this hour.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 02/01/2019-1:30PM)
