The Soccer Cougars claimed first place in their division of the Smoky Mountain Cup at Gatlinburg over the weekend.  On Friday, CCHS outpaced Jonesborough’s Davey Crockett Pioneers by a final of 3 – 2.  Saturday’s match ended in a 2 – 2 deadlock with  the Owls of Smith County (out of Carthage).  The team from Lewisburg, the Marshall County Tigers, suffered a 5 – 1 loss to the Cougars on Sunday afternoon.
