Wlaf1450Mrs. Kathy Lynn Engle Childress age 61 of LaFollette passed away Friday, March 22, 2019. She was a Teachers Assistant with the Campbell County School System for 34 years. An active member of Pine Mountain Longbeards Chapter of National Wild Turkey Federation, a member of LaFollette First Baptist Church, and attended Davis Chapel Community Baptist Church. Preceded in death by Parents, Raymond and Edna Bullock Engle.
Survivors: Husband, Tim Childress; Sons, Jason Sheets and wife, Danielle, and Trace Childress; Brother, John Engle; 2 Nieces; 1 Nephew; Mother-in-Law, Faye Childress; Special Friends, The Bill Ball Family. Several other special friends.
Funeral Services Saturday 7 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Grooms and Rev. Matt Childress officiating. Family and friends will meet Sunday 1:30 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home and proceed to Powell Valley Cemetery & Memorial Gardens for Graveside Services and Interment. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 P.M. Saturday before Funeral Services.
