Lowe, Evelyn, age 90 of Vandalia, OH, formerly of Germantown passed away peacefully at Hospice of Dayton on April 26, 2019 surrounded by her family. She was born in LaFollette TN to the late Everett and Azilee (Claiborne) Goins. She graduated from LaFollette High School, retired from J.C. Penny’s and was a member of the Germantown First Baptist Church since 1970. Evelyn deeply loved her family, church family, her Sunday school class, and her many special loving neighbors throughout her life. She enjoyed being with her family, cooking and baking, sewing and doing crafts, reading and studying her Bible, and working in her yard and flowers. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Charles Lowe, her daughters Debby Lowe and Sheila Fogle, granddaughter Amber, and her brother Bill (Shirley) Goins. She is survived by her sons David Lowe of Vandalia, and Dana (Janet) Lowe of LaFollette, TN, brother Jimmy (Effie) Goins, sister Eula Mae (Ken) Phillips, 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 from 5-7PM at the Arpp, Root & Carter Funeral Home and following the visitation there will be a funeral service beginning at 7:00PM with Pastor Ted Ricci officiating.

Evelyn will be taken to her home town of LaFollete, TN for a visitation on Thursday, May 2, 2019 from 12:00-1:00PM at Martin Wilson Funeral Home, 700 W. Central Ave, LaFollette, Tennessee 37766 Interment immediately following at Woodlawn Cemetery in LaFollette, TN.
