Haley Comer will officially transition from a Campbell County Lady Cougar to a Walters State College Lady Senator here in a few days.    As of today, she verbally committed to play for the Morristown junior college, according to her CCHS Coach Brad Honeycutt.

Comer helped  lead CCHS to nearly 100 wins over her four years wearing the Orange-n-Blue.  She will continue playing for a successful program in Walters State which finished 29 & 5 and played into the second round of the national tournament all the while being ranked in the Top 25.

Honeycutt was thrilled.  He said, “It was the best decision she could have made.”

Comer was a relentless worker as a Lady Cougar.  She can post up as well as hit the three.  It’s a safe bet that will continue at Morristown.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 04/29/2019-2PM)
