This morning just before 9:15am the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office Special Weapons and Tactics Team executed a narcotics search warrant at 941 Cotula Rd.

This is the home of John Wesley Cox, 51, Duff.

Narcotics investigators with the Campbell County Sheriff’s office had conducted several controlled buys of methamphetamine (ICE) over a period of time. Upon execution of the warrant, investigators found drug paraphernalia and evidence to facilitate the sale of narcotics.

Cox is facing charges of sell and delivery of schedule II and felony weapons charges.

“My department will continue to lead the effort to aggressively combat the sale of narcotics in all areas of Campbell County,” said Sheriff Robbie Goins. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 05/01/2019)
