As most people know, the Internet can be a great place for businesses.  At the touch of a button consumers everywhere can easily order your products, set up services and easily find your business.  Yet, as more and more businesses turn to online ventures, a serious new challenge arises: internet security.  Tackling this challenge can seem overwhelming and many may not realize there are answers just around the corner here in Campbell County.

Hammrtech is an information technology support and software development company started by locals, Steve and Andrew Ditmer.  Now based in the old A&S Steel office building, they are offering a free cybersecurity seminar open to any and all businesses. The seminar will cover everything from the ever-changing internet security to professional firewalls and network protection.  Much of the content that will be covered can even be applied to personal computers and side businesses.

The seminar will held tomorrow on Thursday, May 9, 2019, from 3- 5 pm at 1886 Hwy 116 Caryville.  While everyone is welcome to attend in person, a RSVP is always helpful and can be done at https://bit.ly/2KkLqDC .  If you can not attend in person, you can still register and receive a Meetings invite via email.  Come take advantage of this free event and keep your business safe.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 05/08/2019-12:45PM)
