As the end of the school year approaches, Campbell County High School Art students will be showcasing their work.

There are more than 100 pieces of artwork entered in the annual show. The Campbell County Artist Association will be judging as prize money and ribbons will be awarded. Veteran art teacher Georgea Green offered “many thanks to the artist association for its monetary awards, ribbons, time and judging.”

“This has been a long process for the students,” Green said when referencing preparation of the artwork.” We had 40 pieces sent to the Duck Stamp Competition while 30 placed.”

The art show is scheduled for Sunday, May 19, from 2-4 pm at the school.  The public is invited to attend.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 05/17/2019-6AM)
