McClain to sign new book on Friday

LAFOLLETTE, TN., (WLAF)- Carol McClain has written a story that is set in Stinking Creek but with a theme that knows no boundaries.

In her book “A New York Yankee on Stinking Creek” she tells the story of two women from completely different walks of life, their struggles and how they help each other. For McClain, a retired English teacher, her last four years have been spent in Campbell County. “A New York Yankee…” is her fourth published book.

On Friday, June 21 from 4 pm- 8 pm, she will be at the Creekside Market on Stinking Creek signing books and serving cake, while supplies last of both. An autographed book is $13. The book can also be purchased on Amazon and at Barnes and Noble. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED 6 /20/19 6 AM)
