LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – The La Follette Fire Department responded to a lightning strike near the little red caboose on the four lane across from Logan’s Car Wash about 2:20 pm.  A tree was struck by lightning and triggered a fire.  At about 2:30 pm, the  report of a house hit by lightning came in to E-911 Dispatch on Country Oaks Lane.  The Campbell County Rural Fire Service is on the scene.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 07/02/2019-3PM-PHOTOS COURTESY OF WLAF’S CHARLIE HUTSON)
