WHY DID YOU WANT TO BE A TEACHER?

I wanted to be a basketball coach based on the experience of having Coach Len Pierce as my basketball coach at CCHS. Once I was in the school system, I realized the impact a motivated teacher could have on their students. Later, I was blessed to experience the impact a motivated principal could have on a school.

WHAT TEACHER INFLUENCED YOU MOST WHEN YOU WERE IN SCHOOL?

My teachers at LaFollette Elementary School certainly gave me an academic foundation that has served me well throughout my life. If I must name one person from that school that influenced me the most it would be the principal, Mr. Kenneth “Smiley” Miller. I always enjoyed the happiness that would come over the teachers faces when he would deliver their paychecks to them every other Friday.

WHAT IS THE ONE THING YOU ARE MOST EXCITED ABOUT THIS SCHOOL YEAR?

I am extremely excited about the opportunity to work with such a motivated, professional Central Office staff this school year.
