FRANKLIN, TN (WLAF) – Frank Ramsey, pictured above, was wanted after allegedly stealing a marked Campbell County Sheriff’s Cruiser on Sunday.  Chief Deputy Jeremy Goins said Ramsey was taken into custody late Sunday night at Franklin, Tennessee, south of Nashville.  Though details are sketchy at the moment, the cruiser was recovered.

Goins said he did learn that Ramsey ran out of gas on the side of I-65 in Williamson County.  The Chief Deputy, who arrived in Franklin late Sunday night, added that Ramsey was apprehended while sitting in the cruiser.  Ramsey is being held this morning in the Williamson County Jail.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 07/29/2019-2AM)

JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – The Campbell County Sheriff’s Office is asking for your help.  Please be on the lookout for Frank Chester Ramsey, age 43, of Kentucky (PICTURED ABOVE).

Ramsey was released from the Campbell County Jail on Saturday (July 27th).  Upon his release, Ramsey stayed on the premises until today when he destroyed the window of a marked patrol car.  He then allegedly stole a white 2011 Crown Victoria bearing registration TN 0367-GB.  the car was parked and scheduled for maintenance.  Ramsey gained access to the vehicle and located a spare key that was left in the vehicle.  There were no firearms inside of the patrol vehicle when it was stolen.

Ramsey was charged with disorderly conduct on July 23 by officers with the Jellico Police Department  He has two prior bookings on record with the sheriff’s office for vandalism and public intoxication.
