LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – “I looked out the window, and there were police cars lined up all along my street,” said a resident on West Central Avenue.  Just after 3 pm on Thursday afternoon, members of the La Follette Police Department’s Drug Unit and Special Response Team and the 8th Judicial District Drug Task Force arrested four people on the West End of La Follette.One officer said, “We sort of snuck up on a person in a car who is  known to traffic methamphetamine and who also had outstanding warrants.”  Arrested was 39-year old Derrick Byrge of Jacksboro for possession of meth and outstanding warrants.

Elsewhere in the investigation, multiple officers and units also converged on a home at the corner of West Central Avenue and North 19th Street and placed 42-year old Arnold Daugherty of La Follette under arrest charging him with possession of a schedule II controlled substance and outstanding warrants.  Two women, 24-year old Shelby Marlow and 30-year old Falen Richardson, both of La Follette, were arrested on outstanding warrants.
