JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – On Labor Day, not long before sun up, Campbell County Deputy Sheriff’s Cody Douglas went to the 1900 block of Pinecrest Road where it was alleged a woman was screaming and cursing in the roadway.    Douglas found the woman, who was later identified as Jessica Kimberly Sheldon, walking toward Pinecrest Road and spoke with her. A routine check for warrants revealed an active violation of probation warrant. At this time, Sheldon  was arrested.

Before entering the jail, Douglas asked if she had any weapons or drugs on her, she said she did not.  During booking Cpl. LeAnn Daugherty allegedly  found a small bag of crystal substance on Sheldon and a small tin foil paper with a Suboxone strip inside was found in her private area.

Sheldon, 32, 132 Brooke Place Lane, LaFollette was charged with violation of probation (General Sessions Court), possession of schedule II controlled substance, possession of schedule III controlled substance and intro contraband in penal institution.   According to jail records, this was Sheldon’s 21st arrest.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 09/06/2019-6AM)
