Jerry Baker (left) bought this shelf stand from Daphne (right) at the Habitat Restore in September.

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – “I live in Tazewell, but I’m a regular shopper here,” said Jerry Baker.  Baker drops by La Follette’s Habitat for Humanity Restore at least every month.   The Restore is open Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 10 am until 5 pm.

Items are stocked each week at the store.

The Restore serves as a way for the local Habitat chapter to generate funds, allow  people to invest time toward helping to purchase a new home and offers good exposure of Habitat to the thousands who pass by the store everyday.

If anything, a visit to the Restore is a trip down Memory Lane.

Habitat is always needing volunteers.  It is also looking for peple who would like to own their own Habitat home. To become involved with Habitat for Humanity visit the store in downtown LaFollette.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 03/06/2019-6AM)
