JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – Fifth District School Board Member Crystal Creekmore served the last year as chair of the Campbell County Board of Education.     Tuesday night, her tenure concluded, and she expressed her appreciation for the support she received over the past year.

“It’s been an honor to serve in this capacity, and I’ve learned a great deal.  It’s a lot harder in that seat than any other and takes a lot of time and dedication,” Creekmore said.

“I feel you go from working for your district to in ways working for all districts,” said Creekmore.  She then thanked those who supported her.   Creekmore added, “I even thank those who did not support me, because it made me work hard to prove myself.”
