Robert Scott “Scotty” Wilson, age 42, of LaFollette slipped quietly into Eternity with his loving family by his bedside at home on September 15, 2019. Scotty was an all-around kind of guy, almost always in high spirits, and willing to help no matter the cause, his smile was infectious, his laugh contagious, He loved his family especially his three daughters whom he would have went to the ends of the Earth for.
Scotty was a 1996 graduate of Campbell County Comprehensive High School, He loved Tennessee, but he was quick to tell anyone that he was born in Texas, that’s something that he remained proud of until his last day. He was an avid motorcycle and car enthusiast, he especially loved Mopar, he also had a passion for music and action movies, if anything since his passing has occurred, it’s that everyone who knew and loved him feels a little less loved.
On September 15, when Scotty took the hand of the Lord and crossed over to the other side of Eternity he had waiting for him just inside the gates to greet him his Grandparents; Seabron S. Wilson Sr., and Roy and Monnie Perkins and his uncle; John Paul Perkins.

He left behind to cherish his beautiful memory and to carry on his legacy, his loving and dedicated mother Sibyl Perkins and the man whom he called Dad for his entire life Ricky Perkins, both of LaFollette, TN., his brother who stood by him through thick and thin;John Jennings Bryant Perkins, Three loving Daughters; Koren Fogelsanger, Amelia Wilson, and Hannah Wilson, along with their mother Jamie Bolton, all of LaFollette, TN, words can’t express how proud he was of his three beautiful daughters, Aunts; Wanda (Jack) Rogers of Crosby, TX, Martha (Ken) Harrington of Carlsbad, NM, Bessie Countryman of Galena Park, TX, Geneva Thompson of League City, TX, Ellen(Tommy) Wright, of LaFollette, TN, Missy (Donnie) Branaham of LaFollette, TN, uncles; Seabron (Sharon) Wilson of Galena Park, TX, Eddie (Darlene) Perkins of LaFollette, TN, Stanley (Barbara) Perkins of Maryville, TN, Mark (Heidi) Perkins of Knoxville, TN, and a host of cousins and friends.
