Mr. Jerry “Pap” Herrin age 72 of Jacksboro passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2019.  He was Owner and Operator of Benham Sawmill in Benham, KY supplying items for area Coal Mines in Southeastern, KY.  A happily retired Coal Miner, Mine Superintendent, and Mine Rescue Specialist with companies including Cross Mountain Coal Company, Scotia Coal Company, and Reata Coal Company.  Jerry enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his Grandchildren and Great-grandchildren, and his beloved dog, Nilla.  Preceded in death by Wife, Mrs. Corinne Herrin, Step-Son, James Mack “Moose” Honeycutt, and Parents, Paul and Bertie Wilson Herrin.

Survivors: Children, Charlene Kay Walter, Pamela Mae Voegele-Lewis and Husband, Jeffery Clay, Terry Wayne Honeycutt and Wife, Lisa Ann, Jennifer Ann Honeycutt; Jeffery Lynn Herrin and Wife, Helen Hope, Ramona Michelle Ramsey and Husband, Garrett, Jacqulyn Curtis, and Greg Herrin; Special Grandson and Caregiver, Brandon Herrin; Seventeen Grandchildren; Eighteen Great-Grandchildren; Brother, Denny Herrin; Sister, Phyllis Collins; Two Nephews; Jerry’s Loving Neighbors who watched out for him, and several other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services Friday 7 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor James Coffee officiating.  The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 P.M.
