WILLIAMSBURG, KY (WLAF) – Clifford Douglas, the first principal at the then new Campbell County High School in 1975, has died.   Douglas, who retired as principal on his birthday September 27, 1988, was the longest serving principal in the school’s 45-year history.

Family members say the 95-year old Douglas passed away Friday morning at the Williamsburg Nursing Home.

The family will receive friends Monday November 4, 2019, at the First Baptist Church of Jellico from 4:00 until 7:00 P.M.  The funeral service will follow with Dr. Bob Dunston and Rev. Doug Clem officiating.  In lieu of flowers please make donations to First Baptist Church 545 South Main Street Jellico, Tennessee 37762.
Interment is 11:00 A.M. Tuesday November 5, 2019, in the Jellico Cemetery with full military honors provided by American Legion Post 154. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 11/02/2019-NOON)
