JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – Campbell County is conducting a study to assess the preparedness needs of its residents as an important part of the County’s Hazard Mitigation Plan update. To do so, a questionnaire has been distributed throughout the County, and you have been invited to participate. Your feedback is greatly needed and appreciated. The questionnaire should only take about 10 minutes to complete. All responses will be kept confidential, and your participation is strictly voluntary. Your input will enable the County to better serve you.

The purpose of hazard mitigation planning is to identify policies and actions that can be implemented over the long term to reduce risk and future losses. Mitigation forms the foundation for a community’s long-term strategy to reduce disaster losses and break the cycle of disaster damage, reconstruction, and repeated damage.

As a thank you for completing the survey, you have the option at the end of the survey to enter into a prize raffle. The Contractor hired by Campbell County to complete the Campbell County Hazard Mitigation Plan is providing the prizes. Prizes include weather radios, emergency preparedness kits, and more.

Connect HERE to participate in the survey.  You are encouraged to please complete the survey by Wednesday, November 27, 2019.
