Harry Burden (L) and Lee Asbury.  For almost 40-years, Burden served as the Grand Jury Foreman.  The late Asbury was the longtime criminal court judge.

JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – Harry Burden was a leader.  And a pioneer.  The soft spoken body shop owner passed away Tuesday evening.Burden founded Jacksboro Body Shop in 1960 and his sons, Don and Avery, later joined him to run the business.  Burden was on the very first city council when Jacksboro incorporated in 1968, and he was also a founding member of the Campbell Outdoor Recreation Association (CORA).

Burden may best be remembered as the longtime foreman of the Campbell County Grand Jury.  A retirement celebration was held for Burden in the summer of 2013.
