Narvel Gene Adkins, age 77 of Jacksboro passed away Sunday, November 24, 2019.  He was a loving husband of 27 years, a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather.  He enjoyed watching the Vols on tv, fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by wife Carrie Lee (Young) Adkins, parents Henry Buster and Edna (Bullman) Adkins, grandparents Mommy & Poppy Bullman.

.He is survived by sons Narvel Lee Adkins & wife Rhonda of Jacksboro, Tim Adkins & wife Marie of LaFollette, brothers Clois Adkins of Knoxville, CL Adkins & wife Jean of LaFollette, Chet Adkins & wife Arlene of Missouri, Avery Adkins & wife Judy of Caryville, sisters Mildred Boshears of Caryville, Cleda Tackett of Ohio, 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, friends, and relatives.

Visitation will be 1-2 PM Wednesday, November 27, 2019 followed by funeral service at 2 PM in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home with Pastor Josh Adkins and Pastor Tim Adkins officiating. Following funeral service, friends and family will go in procession to Queener Cemetery for interment.
