JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – The Town of Jacksboro hereby gives notice that a public meeting will be held at 4:00 pm, Wednesday December 11, 2019 at the Town of Jacksboro’s Municipal Building at 585 Main Street, Jacksboro, TN to receive input from residents on the Town’s intent to submit a 2020 Community Development Block Grant Application (CDBG) to the Department of Economic and Community Development for funding consideration.

The purpose of the meeting is to give the residents of Jacksboro an opportunity to provide input regarding the Town’s community development needs for which an application, if funded, would address; to review the program updates and eligibility requirements; to review previous public meeting comments and to discuss potential projects that would meet the CDBG program requirements of benefiting low-to-moderate income persons.  Additionally, comments from the 1st meeting will be reviewed.

Notice is further given that the Town does not discriminate on the basis of race, sex, color, religion, national origin, age or against persons with disabilities.
