LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Road crews with the Campbell County Highway Department and TDOT are out at this hour making sure roads are safe for morning commuters.    That comes after a day of rain, sleet and snow followed by subfreezing temperatures on Tuesday into Wednesday.

Snow totals range from an inch up to three-inches.

Road Superintendent Ron Dilbeck encourages drivers to exercise caution, because even though roads are generally in good shape, he says, there are icy spots here and there.  Dilbeck reports that snow totals throughout Campbell County range from an inch up to three-inches.

Some of the most dangerous areas  this morning will be  front walks and drive ways.  Parking lots also present challenges.

Sunshine highlights Wednesday’s weather.  A high of 42 goes along with chilly breezes.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 12/11/2019-6AM-PHOTOS COURTESY OF WLAF’S CHARLIE HUTSON)
