LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – About 10 days before Christmas, brothers Frank and Eddie Bailey (left and right above) visited WLAF and had one simple request; they asked WLAF listeners, viewers and readers to send their brother Dennis a Christmas card.  Dennis, a veteran of the Korea War, resides at an Ohio Veterans Home.

The Christmas before, the brothers campaign netted about 100 cards. The brothers were hoping for a couple of hundred cards this year.  This Christmas, Dennis received 836 Christmas cards.  Frank and Eddie stopped by WLAF on Monday, and with tears in their eyes, told us about the big haul.
