Kenneth Ray Powers of Speedwell was arrested today in Claiborne County.

JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – An investigation by Special Agents with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) has resulted in the arrest of a Campbell County man on solicitation and exploitation charges involving a minor.In April,  TBI Agents began investigating allegations against Kenneth Ray Powers, 4). During the course of the investigation, agents determined that between March 2019 and April 2019, Powers sent explicit messages to an underage female and attempted to solicit the victim to engage in sexual activity.
Last month, the Campbell County Grand Jury returned indictments charging Kenneth Powers with one count of solicitation to commit aggravated statutory rape and three counts of sexual exploitation of a minor by electronic means. Today, Powers, of Speedwell, was arrested in Claiborne County. At the time of this release, he was being held in the Claiborne County Jail. His bond is set at $10,000.   1. Ok…. this was my daughter that he tried to be sick with…. why does he have a bond??? He shouldn’t and he has hurt many young ladies.
