JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – Campbell County Director of Schools Jennifer Fields said, “We still have several out sick, but it is much better than last week.”

Last Tuesday, attendance numbers were way down and widespread sickness pushed absentee numbers way up.  As a result, Fields called off school the last three days of the week and schools were disinfected with hopes numbers would return to form this week.

Based on the numbers from today, the attendance is at 91% county-wide.  The highest attended school today is Jellico Elementary at 95% while Jacksboro Elementary is the lowest at 86%.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 02/04/2020-NOON)
