LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – LaFollette Police officers responded to the report of a shooting behind Food City around 12:30 pm today. After arriving on the scene, officers found that a juvenile had been shot in the leg in “what appeared to be a self inflected wound,” according to LaFollette Police Chief Bill Roehl.

The male juvenile has been transported to the University of Tennessee Medical Center with “non life threatening injuries,” according to Roehl. No age or address has been released for the juvenile. “It appears to be a self inflected accidental wound, but officers are still investigating,” Roehl said.
