JELLICO, TN (WLAF) – Students, parents and faculty at Jellico High School have a new way to show school spirit.  The new spirit rock is placed near the main entrance of the Jellico High School campus and is an exciting welcome to the home of the Blue Devils.

Making this happen was no easy task.  Once the location for the rock was selected by the high school faculty and school board members, a partnership was formed with Campbell County Highway Department Road Superintendent Ron Dilbeck to relocate the giant boulder from the county quarry located on Towe String Road.  CCHD crews transported and set the rock for JHS students and staff.
” I hope student response is positive, and the rock will soon be painted to show support for the school’s groups and sports teams,”  Dilbeck said. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 02/20/2020-6AM)
