First day of April brings late February feel

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – The average high for the first day of April is 64 degrees.  Though temps won’t be close to that today on this April first.Cool 50s are the order of the day with chilly breezes and more clouds than sun.  Temps will struggle to make it to 53 this afternoon.  Breezes will make it feel like it’s in the 30s.  Tonight’s low of 38 and clearing skies bring the threat of patchy frost by daybreak.

Temperatures begin moderating Thursday with 60s on the way and then 70s for highs and lows near 50 for Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  A nice first weekend of April weather is ahead.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 04/01/2020-6AM)
