LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – It has been a busy Saturday, and the day is not over.  At this hour, firefighters with the Campbell County Rural Fire Service are battling a brush fire in the Demory Community near Chaniott’s Market.  The day’s first call came in Saturday morning after 9 am when there was a non-injury wreck on Grantsboro Road.

In the 3 pm hour, firefighters with the Jacksboro Fire Department were called to fight a brush fire on Connor Lane.  That was near the First Volunteer Bank.

At 4:03 pm, the call of a motorcycle wreck was called in to E-911 Dispatch.  The wreck happened on Sugar Hollow Road just down from the Demory Mart.  The injured man was flown out by a medical helicopter lifting off near the White Bridge from the soccer field at Lonas Young Park.

Moments after the motorcycle call came in, the call of a car wreck on Carr Wynn Road was answered.  It happened in the bend of the road at Lilac Drive.

Another brush fire at Jacksboro brought out firefighters to Butter & Egg Road at Judge Lee Asbury Court in the 4 pm hour.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 04/11/2020-6PM)
