CARYVILLE, TN  (WLAF) – A 44-year old man is soon to be flown by a medical helicopter leaving from the Caryville ball field.  He will be flown to a Knoxville hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in an ATV wreck that happened just after 11 am Sunday morning.

One report is that the ATV landed on top of the man.  He was freed by members of the La Follette Rescue Squad and transported from the scene on an ATV to the ground ambulance.

According to reports, the accident happened on an ATV trail about a mile from a campground at the 141 Exit of I-75.

It was said that the victim is suffering from lower back pain among other possible injuries.   (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 04/19/2020-11:50AM)
