This photo of the late Earl Brogan was snapped in May of 2016 when WLAF caught up with him selling newspapers for the Shriners at Walmart.

JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – The biggest fan of the cotton top Price twins will be laid to rest today.  The man Campbell High Football Coaches Justin and Matt Price called Papaw passed away on Tuesday.

“He will be missed, but we know he is with my Mamaw in the presence of the Lord,” said Justin Price.

Earl and Lorene from days gone by.  “He loved his wife and family more than anything,” said Justin Price.

Justin Price called his Papaw a great grandfather and a great man.  “I’m thankful for the cross in these situations,” he said.

Papaw Brogan enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved selling the Shriners papers every spring.  Justin Price said, “He found so much joy in his kids, grand kids and great grand kids. We will miss him so much but knowing he is with his wife in the presence of the Lord brings great peace.”

The graveside service for Earl Franklin Brogan is at noon today at Yoakum Cemetery at Speedwell.  Military Honors will be provided by the Campbell County Honor Guard for the Air Force veteran.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 05/01/2020-6AM)
