LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Demory Road is back open after being closed for more than two-hours.  For the second time in about a year, GPS has guided an 18-wheeler off-course to Demory, and the big rigs have gotten stuck both times.

There was no quick fix to free this 18-wheeler on Monday afternoon.

That’s the case this afternoon.  Demory Road at Young Road has been blocked since about 3:30 pm.  Reed’s Wrecker service out of Knoxville is enroute to get the 18-wheeler straightened out, back on the roadway and clear traffic.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 05/11/2020-5PM-UPDATED 5:44PM)
