He is preceded in death by stepfather, Willis Taylor.

He is survived by son, Logan Moore of Virginia; daughter, Abbie Moore of Knoxville; mother, Phyllis Taylor of LaFollette; brothers, Willis “Butchie” Taylor of LaFollette, Wayne Moore of Rocky Top, David Taylor & wife Amber of LaFollette; sister, Midge Eastridge & husband Tommy of Clairfield, Audrie Ramsey & husband Forest of LaFollette, Melissa Longmire & husband Michael of LaFollette.
