NASHVILLE, TN (WLAF) – The number of COVD-19 cases in Campbell County remained at 17 for weeks with 16 of those patients having recovered. However, in the Saturday report from the State Department of Health, one new COVID-19 case was reported in Campbell County. Results from 1,433 COVID-19 tests in Campbell County have come back negative through Sunday. There has been one death reported from COVID-19 in Campbell County.
Across Tennessee, the Tennessee Department of Health reports 364 people have died from complications due to the Coronavirus as of Sunday afternoon. There were no deaths reported from Saturday to Sunday. Additionally, 1,750 patients have been hospitalized.
As of Sunday afternoon’s report, 23,006 tests (up 440 from Saturday) have come back positive for the virus out of 435,977 tests. The number of patients who have recovered from the virus totals 15300.
