It was another good showing for the Campbell Cougars on Thursday evening at Halls.  The CCHS Football team took part in its third seven-on-seven competition last night against the Red Devils.  Head Coach Justin Price tells WLAF, “We are starting to see more guys become more comfortable with the plays, and our timing is improving.  It’s been a good week for us.”

After a Friday of no 7-on-7s, Campbell has a full day on Saturday.  On July 14, 1 pm, 2 pm, 3 pm & 4 pm – the Cougars will have games at Maryville College, Price’s alma mater where he played quarterback.

The Cougars play Central on Friday, August 10, at Neyland Stadium in the High School Kick-Off Classic.  The season officially opens Friday, August 17, 7:30 pm, at Rogersville with the Cherokee Chiefs.  The WLAF – B & M Tires Sports Network has all the live radio, television, and dotcom coverage.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 07/13/2018-6AM)
