The volunteers at the La Follette Medical Center continue making a difference in local lives.  Their latest accomplishment is the awarding of scholarship dollars to local students.

Seven recipients received a portion of $3,000 in scholarships on Wednesday at LMC.  Those awarded are LMC employees or their children and are studying for careers in the health field.  The scholarship dollars were made possible through public support through volunteer fundraisers.
