Early this morning law enforcement knocked the door down at 896 Glade Springs Road in La Follette at the home of James Norris.    Campbell County Sheriff Robbie K. Goins said his S.W.A.T. Team, along with, agents from the 8th Judicial Drug Task Force and the La Follette Police Department breached the residence of James Norris this morning, serving a narcotics search warrant after a lengthy investigation for alleged illegal drug dealing.  Goins said investigators recovered evidence such as, what is believed to be, methamphetamine and marijuana. They also seized U.S. currency related to illegal narcotics trafficking. Norris, a house name at the Campbell County Jail who has 52 jail book-ins, will have this case and evidence presented against him before a Campbell County Grand Jury at the earliest date possible. “We have to rid our community of this human pollution. We have been and are committed to ridding this nuisance, community by community.” concluded Sheriff Goins. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 08/16/2018-10:30AM)
