This morning at Maynardville, Ricky Breeden was sentenced to 95-years in prison.  On August 20, 2018, Union County Criminal Court Judge E. Shayne Sexton sentenced Ricky Breeden, of Maynardville, Tennessee, to serve a total of 95 years in the custody of the Tennessee Department of Corrections. On June 27, 2018, a Union County jury found Mr. Breeden guilty of three (3) counts of Rape of a Child, Class A felonies, and two (2) counts of Aggravated Sexual Battery, Class B Felonies. This case was investigated and prosecuted by Detective Randy Summers with the Union County Sheriff’s Office. The Union County Children’s Center, Children’s Center of the Cumberlands, Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, and Department of Children’s Services were also an integral part of the investigation and trial.
