It was perhaps only fitting that La Follette Chief of Police Bill Roehl held one of his regular “Coffee with the Chief” events this morning.   Roehl said he and his officers thought it might be good idea to have it today since October 3 is “National Coffee with a Cop Day.”  He hosted today’s “coffee” at Hardee’s from 7 am until 9 am.

The veteran lawman tells WLAF, “I received a lot of good information this morning from some of our citizens.  Information received like what can be done about drug activity in certain parts of town as well as a chance for the chief to explain some of the progress his department has made in certain areas.

The next “Coffee with the Chief” will be coming up in a couple of months.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 10/03/2018-9:15AM)
