On Saturday morning, under a gray sky, the families of Wade Boshears, Dr. Burgin Wood, Clayton Wood and John Wood gathered for the dedication of the Jacksboro Station Bridge that was constructed 16 years ago.

County Commissioner Rusty Orick spoke of the men and how each one had impacted the whole community with their kindness. “They were icons to all who knew them”, said Orick.

Plaques will also be added to the bridge

Baird, Forster Baird, John Bond, Johnny Bruce, Keith Clotfelter, Allen Douglas, Johnny Joe Dower,  Whit Goins, Walter Henegar, Lynn Letner, Gary Lindsay, Roy Mack Pierce, Bobby White and Ray Wilson.  The County Executive was Tommy C.
