The following criminal cases were resolved last week with plea agreements:

  • Joshua Allen Curley- DUI; two days to serve with credit for time served, 11 months, 29 days probation, court costs, $350 fine, attend one MADD Impact Panel, loss of driver’s license for one year, attend alcohol and drug assessment following any recommendations and submit to periodic drug screens
  • Tommy Sue Burress Ogg- attempted sale of schedule II controlled substance, attempted sale of schedule II controlled substance; two years supervised probation, court costs, $2,000 fine, $210 to the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office Drug Fund (CCSODF), probation to become unsupervised when case is paid in full
  • Angela Denise Lay- aggravated domestic assault; 12 days to serve with credit for time served, four years supervised probation, court costs, no contact with the victim
  • Roger Derick Byrge- attempted introduction of drugs into penal facility; 30 days to serve with credit for time served, three years supervised probation, court costs
  • Jimmy Lee Jenkins- possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell; 30 days to serve with credit for time served, eight years supervised probation, court costs, $2,000 fine
  • Justin Ward Mcteer- felony evading arrest, reckless endangerment, theft over $2,500, driving on a revoked license and failure to exercise due care; 30 days to serve with credit for time served, three years supervised probation, court costs, $75 fine, $546.47 restitution
  • Ricky Gayloin Stults, Jr.,- possession of a firearm by a convicted felon; four years supervised probation, court costs, forfeiture of weapons, accessories and ammunition
  • Rebekah Leeanne Gibson- possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell; two years judicial diversion, two years supervised diversion, court costs, $2,000 fine, no unlawful contact with the victim
  • Samuel William Adkins- aggravated burglary; 32 days to serve with credit for time served, four years supervised probation, court costs, $75 fine, no contact with the victim
  • Adam Clyde Ivey-fourth offense DUI; 150 days to serve with credit for time served, two years supervised probation, court costs, $3,000 fine, attend one MADD Impact Panel, loss of driver’s license for eight years, two years supervised probation, attend alcohol and drug assessment following any recommendations and submit to periodic drug screens
  • Tony Edward McHenry- assault; one day to serve with credit for time served, 11 months, 29 days unsupervised probation, court costs, no contact with the victim, forfeit .38 Smith & Wesson
  • Jason Dwaine Owens- possession of contraband in a penal facility, possession of drug paraphernalia; 37 days to serve with credit for time served, three years supervised probation, court costs, $150 fine
  • Elsie Estelle Kniffen- possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell, criminal simulation; 141 day to serve with credit for time served, three years supervised probation, court costs, $2,000 fine
  • Harold Dewayne Vinsant- evading arrest, criminal impersonation, two counts of driving on a suspended license; three days to serve with credit for time served, two years supervised probation, court costs, loss of driver’s license for two years
  • Chester Lee Jenkins, Jr.- attempted possession of schedule II controlled substance with intent to sell, reckless aggravated assault; 66 days to serve with credit for time served, six years supervised probation, court costs, $2,000 fine, no contact with the victim
  • Jody William Lane- three counts of theft over $1,000, two counts of burglary; 18 days to serve with credit for time served, four year supervised probation, court costs, $225 fine, $25 restitution, no contact with the victims
  • Brittany Nicole Parks- sale of VI controlled substance more than a half ounce, simple possession of marijuana; three years judicial diversion, three years supervised probation, court costs, $2,000 fine (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 11/19/2018-6AM)
