Delphia Jean (Etter) Winters, age 86 of LaFollette passed away peacefully at Tennova Health Care on Friday, November 23, 2018. She was born in Morley, Campbell County, Tennessee to the late Margaret Ethel (Maggie) (Campbell) and Edward D Etter. Delphia was a devoted Christian and very active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She was a regular volunteer at the Campbell County Historical Society and a member of the LaFollette Christian Womens Club, Lafollette Book Club, the FTEC, Campbell County Lions Club and the LaFollette Garden Club.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Richard E. Winters, sisters; Dora Darlene (Etter) and husband William L. Burton, Naomi Willamay Etter, Brother-in-law Plummer L. Bryant and niece Judy Ann (Burton) Cramer.

Left to cherish her memories is a sister Lois June (Etter) Bryant of Aurora Ohio and brother Jack C. Etter and wife Barbara E. (Shook) Etter of Dallas North Carolina. Nieces and nephews; Shelia (Bryant) and husband John Rosette and family of Aurora Ohio, Michelle and husband Greg Rood and family of Youngstown Ohio, Plummer L Bryant Jr., of Akron, Ohio, William Roger (Butch) and wife Franci Burton and family of Massillon, Ohio, Joe and wife Denise Burton and family of Massillon, Ohio, Tim Burton and family of Greentown, Ohio, Steven E. and wife Lucinda Etter and family of Abuquerque, New Mexico, Eric L. Etter of Kings Mountain, North Carolina, Stephanie and husband Todd Day and family of Eagle Mountain, Utah, Aaron J. and wife Judy Etter and family of Gastonia, North Carolina.

Visitation will be Friday November 30th at Cross-Smith Funeral Home from 6 PM to 8 PM.  Also Saturday morning December 1st from 9 AM to 10 AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 215 Wildwood Circle, LaFollette with funeral service at 10 AM.

A Graveside Service and burial will be Sunday afternoon December 2nd at 2 PM at White Pine Cemetery in Newland North Carolina.
